EDUCATION FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN – “WE CHOOSE HEALTH” and “ORAL HYGIENE”

Within the grant program of the Project “Inclusive Preschool Education” the municipality of Odzaci implemented the activities of the Mobile Counseling Center for Parents and Children in October. Two pieces of training on the topic “We choose health” and “Oral hygiene” were held in 4 rural settlements. The training was attended by 100 children and 39 parents.

The goal of the education was to introduce parents to the importance of immunization, proper nutrition, hygiene, and physical activity for preschool children, in order to preserve health and encourage proper growth and development.

At the educational workshop “Oral Hygiene”, the children had the opportunity to practice how to brush their teeth properly. At the end of the workshop, each child received a toothbrush and toothpaste as a gift.
