MUNICIPALITY VRACAR – RECONSTRUCTED 6 WORKING SPACES, NUMBER OF INCLUDED CHILDREN 180

After buying the equipment for workrooms in the municipalities of Svilajnac and Raca, the opening of new workrooms within the project “Inclusive preschool education” continues.

Given the needs and number of children on the waiting list, the City of Belgrade has enabled the adaptation of 6 new workrooms in the municipality of Vracar, while the complete equipment is being implemented from the project “Inclusive preschool education” implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Cooperation with the Novak Djokovic Foundation, from a World Bank loan.

Part of the municipal building was put into use by the preschool institution “Vracar” for 10 years and the final works on the adaptation of the space have been completed. Six kindergarten groups will be accommodated in this facility, which will provide 180 new places for children up to 6 years of age. With the completion of this facility, preschool education “Vracar” will expand its capacities and reduce the waiting list for 180 children.

The facility is equipped to accommodate four mixed groups and two groups of preschoolers. The equipment was chosen following the new basics and, if necessary, children and educators in groups.

The furniture is made to measure and fit into the existing rooms, in order to make the most of the space. Each room is equipped with modern pieces of furniture, creative educational boards that were made by the measure, as well as toys, didactics, books, carpets, and other consumables necessary for the daily functioning of working groups.
